Merchant is a role play game in which players, instead of assuming the traditional role of the hero of the story, control a simple merchant. Your main job will be to buy and sell articles and to earn money, although you'll also have to do some other things.
The first thing you have to do in Merchant, of course, will be to contract someone to do your dirty work. It's the same as finding a warrior, a person with street smarts, or a wizard, since you won't be going on adventures with them. You'll send them the things you have to get done and wait until they come back so that you can sell all the things they've collected.
In addition to selling these objects, you'll also have to get help from artisans who will make objects for you. For example, an ingot of iron won't give you much money, but if you pay a blacksmith to make you a sword, you'll be able to sell that sword for much more money.
